Weight Transfer:

In order for you to maximize your distance, you must move the body weight from the backswing to the follow thru.  Most golfers keep their weight back on the right side when they are following thru. 

One thought to keep in mind with this is to play the kids game, FOLLOW THE LEADER.  The leader is your club.  Where the club goes you must feel your body follow it.

On the backswing, put weight on the instep of the right foot, that is where the club is going, FOLLOW IT.  Then when the club comes down move your body to the outside of the left foot on the follow thru.  That again, is where the club is going, FOLLOW IT.
